How to clear cache & cookies for internet browser

Clearing browser Cache per Web Browser

FireFox

  1. Click the Menu Button (Hamburger in top right)>Settings>Privacy & Security
  2. In the Cookies and Site Data section, select Clear Data
  3. With the Cached Web Content & Cookies and Site Data check marked, Select Clear 

Your changes have been saved! You may now close the current tab!!

Chrome

  1. At the top right, selectMore>Settings>Privacy and Security>Clear browsing data
  2. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
  3. Next to “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files,” check the boxes.
  4. Click Clear data 

Your changes have been saved! You may now close the current tab!!

Safari

Manual

  1. Open Safari and select the Safari tab at the top left of menu bar >Preferences >Advanced
  2. At the bottom, there is a checkbox labeled ‘Show Develop menu in menu bar’. Check it.
  3. You should now see a Develop tab in your menu bar (between Bookmarks and Window)
  4. Select Develop>Empty Caches

Shortcut (Once Develop tab is enabled)

  1. [OPTION] + [COMMAND] + [E]

Edge

  1. Edge
    1. Open Microsoft Edge, select *** in top right corner> Settings > Privacy, Search, and Services
    2. Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear
    3. Select the Cached images and files and Cookies and other site data boxes and select Clear Now

Your changes have been saved! You may now close the current tab!!
