Troubleshooting DigiExam

Learn how to troubleshoot common issues with DigiExam to ensure seamless online exam administration.

If you are having trouble getting DigiExam to work, here are some simple things you can try before coming to the library for help. 

  1. Uninstall the DigiExam App from your computer (fully use the uninstall process, don't just delete the app) and reinstall it from the Digiexam website. This is particularly important if you used Digiexam in 2024-25 school year because the apps from that year are no longer supported or working. 
     
  2. Open DigiExam through Canvas. Go into a Canvas Course and click on DigiExam in the menu on the left. Then login from there and launch the app once your are logged in online. 
     
  3. When your DigiExam App opens, ensure that it is set to US instead of EU. 

4. Have you tried restarting your computer? Don't be scared - DigiExam saves your work, and if your teacher unlocks the exam for you, you can pick right back up where you left off.
